Wyandot Names New CEO

At Kansas City's Wyandot, Inc., Randy Callstrom has been chosen to fill the CEO position vacated June 30 when former leader Pete Zevenbergen decided to take an early retirement. Callstrom is well regarded there, having served most recently as Executive Director of their PACES program. Wyandot operates with a budget of $35 million and a staff of 340 FTEs. They have been a member of mhca since 2004. Help us welcome Randy as he assumes his new role at Wyandot!       


Three New CEOs Take Reins

We are pleased to announce the addition of three new CEOs at mhca member organizations. Please help us welcome these new members. After a nationwide search, Bluegrass.org has selected Paul R. Beatrice, MPA (left, top photo) as its new President and CEO. Beatrice brings 25+ years of executive management experience to the job. He most recently served as an executive with NHS Human Services, one of the largest nonprofit human service providers in the country. Bluegrass is Joint Commission accredited and has served the 17 county Bluegrass Area of Kentucky for more than 45 years. A 26-year employee of Mental Health Services for Clark and Madison Counties in Springfield, Ohio has been named its new CEO. Curt Gillespie, LISW, LPCC, LICDC-S, (left, middle photo) who has been the Senior Vice President of Adult Services, replaces Dr. James Perry as the top executive. Perry has been the CEO for 33 years and was honored on June 26 at a "Bon Voyage Reception."!In Knoxville, Tennessee, the Helen Ross McNabb Center has announced CEO Andy Blacks June 30 retirement and selection of Jerry Vagnier (left, bottom photo) to succeed him. Vagnier joined the McNabb Centers staff in 1998 and has served in numerous positions before becoming President in 2013, responsible for the day-to-day operations of clinical and administrative services and new business development. We were pleased to welcome Jerry at mhcas recent Spring Conference in Nashville.

The online Directory includes links to CEO Email and member center Websites and serves as a powerful tool for searching for specific Subject Matter Resources and other text.  Need to submit new information or make changes to your center's page?  You can do so online by completing our Member Profile Entry Form.

  • Use MHCA's  Accreditation Surveyor List to contact other CEOs who have had surveys by the same individual assigned to your center (JCAHO & CARF).
